Oct & November 2025
October was full of football. Jack doesn't get to play a ton but he gets in every game and is doing great!
Kenny turned 15 on Oct 5th so of course we had a dirt bike party!
Oct 11th we had family pictures. The morning started out a little rough. It was raining but the photographer text me and said it was supposed to stop before our appointment. Then, while we were driving down to Fredericksburg I saw that Kaleb was wearing his American flag crocs! I was so upset because I don't ask much of them but family pictures is one thing I do for me and I couldn't believe he would wear those shoes. I was ready to turn back around and go home then Josh started laughing and told him to put his Nike's on. THEY THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY! I wasn't laughing. I'm so glad he had normal shoes and didn't ruin my pictures! 😂😂
For years I've seen photographers advertise mini sessions that only last 20 min and thought there's no way that's enough time to get all the pictures I would want. This year I decided to try it and was totally surprised. We got all the different combinations I wanted and the boys didn't even complain! I love them!
Of course family pictures isn't the boys idea of a good time so they brought their RC trucks and we let them drive them after. I had to laugh because during the photo session Jack was, of course, very serious and smiling with his mouth shut then after I got this picture. He has such a great smile! Our pictures turned out great!
Waiting on the boys
Kaleb being creative with his camera
When we were driving to the park for our pictures we saw that they put a Cookout in Fredericksburg! This is one of our favorite places to eat when we visit NC, so of course that's where we went for lunch!
Oct 16th the two main defensive ends couldn't play because 1 had a concussion and the other was sick so Jack played almost the whole game! He did awesome! He played so hard! This one play impressed me so much. He pushed through two players and tried to stop the throw!
We took our last boat ride of the season on Oct 18th. It was chilly but that doesn't stop Josh and Kaleb!
The"I know it's going to be cold, but I want to wakeboard" face
Jack wasn't feeling it lol
Unfortunately the Volvo's transmission is going out and they said a rebuilt one is $7000 so there's no way we are putting that into a 15yr old vehicle. Last Saturday I spent the entire day test driving cars. I went to every dealer in the area and these are the top three. I'm hoping I get a little longer out of the Volvo but we'll see.
Happy Halloween!
The theme at work this year was States. We had New Jersey, Maine, New Orleans, Hawaii, Florida, Pennsylvania Massachusetts, & New Mexico. I really do love the people I work with!
I was New Mexico representing Roswell!
My favorite work partner, Jon Bone Jovi!
Nadia, one of the PT's sent me this picture and said every time she comes out of her room she cracks up cause all she sees are my antennas. 🤣
When I showed Josh my costume the night before I asked him what state he thought I was and he said, "Crazy?" 🤦♀️😂
I was surprised but the boys went trick or treating with Kenny. They didn't stay out as long but I'm still glad they are enjoying the smaller holidays, even if it's just for the candy!
November
Happy 16th Birthday to my first born! He came into this world bigger than expected and has kept that trajectory! He's still as serious as always and still has the biggest heart! I'm so proud of the man that he is becoming!
Breakfast of champions, Texas Donuts!
This birthday has hot me the hardest so far! I printed pictures from all throughout his life and put them on the wall
A picture from every birthday!
We surprised him with a new phone and some computer parts
Josh took the kids to the dentist for me since I was working and he text me and said "We might need to find Jack an adult dentist." 🤣
Kaleb loves riding his scooter
This year I decided to decorate for Christmas in stages since I'm working and don't have a week straight to do it. The first thing we pulled out was the village!
This years Christmas Lego was a train!
Jack bought this little go kart last month and decorated it. I think he's in the Christmas spirit!
November 22nd we had a Friendsgiving at the garage.
Jacoby is in college in upstate NY and decided to come and spend Thanksgiving week with us! Her birthday was the 26th so, of course, we celebrated her!
Her mom requested that her gifts be wrapped in a towel, just like they do at home!
I cooked Thanksgiving dinner this year and we had the Beauregard's over. Dinner was delicious, I even made rolls from scratch!
Steph and Joe brought dessert! We love when they bring the Baskin Robbins oreo turkey!
November 30th Kaleb played in an all day Lacrosse tournament. It was cold and rainy but those boys did great leaving with 2nd place! Kaleb scored his first goal!
