July 2, 2025
Trey and his girlfriend Cynthia flew in from Idaho to spend the 4th with us. We did lots of boating and a little sight seeing.
Josh taught Cynthia to surf
Tyson, Carrie, Taylee, and Tripp flew in on July 5th and was able to hang out with Trey and Cynthia for 2 days before they had to leave. They stayed with us for 10 days. We've wanted them to come visit for years and we had the best time!
We hate going into DC but when we picked Trey and Cynthia up it was 7pm and since they were only going to be here a few days we thought we would just drive by some of the main spots. When we got down there it was empty and there was parking everywhere so we decided to try that again with Tyson, Carrie, and the kids. It worked out and we enjoyed walking around sight seeing!
If course Kaleb brought his scooter!
Tripp learned to surf

This year for our girls trip we went to Annie's new house. I flew to Boston and she picked me up and we headed to Nottingham NH for a relaxing weekend!
I thought this was cool. I had been flying over the ocean for over an hour and saw this in the middle of nowhere.
I got to Annie's a day before Kristin and Sam but the first thing we did was go out for a wild night on the town. 😂
On the way home we stopped at this cute place on the water for dinner.
The rest of the time we relaxed and watched trashy TV and sit on the porch and chatted. It was a perfect weekend!

August 2025
Summer flew by but we tried to enjoy every last drop! The boys found this boat in the weeds behind the marina years ago and no one had ever done anything with it so the boys decided to try and repair it and add a deck for fishing.
Here we go!
Kaleb decided, with the persuasion of mom and dad, to cut off his mullet before going to high school. He wasn't happy at first.
That night he caught the biggest fish he's ever caught!
The last days of summer were filled with fishing, boating, and hanging out with friends!
August 14th Jack had his first football scrimmage. This was the first time we ever saw him in uniform practicing. He didn't get to play in the game because he had gotten a concussion the week before but it was still cool to see him practicing.
September
It seems now that the boys are back to school life is just busy busy. Kaleb has been asking to go to Bass Pro for a while so I finally had time to take him in labor day. I had gone off shopping and when I went back to find him he had his little basket. I thought it was so cute! I love getting individual time with the boys!
Happy 41st Birthday to the glue of our family! He wasn't home this year but he was still celebrated!
Of course we celebrated him when he got home too 🙂
The rest of the month was filled with football and work

When it's raining and you just straightened your hair that day, you find a way to keep it fresh!
Josh was in Montana for work most of the month. He called me one day and told me he had to meet with some Commanders and Generals so he had to dress up. I was confused because I didn't think he took any suits. He sent me a picture of the 2 Star General giving him his coin. 🤣🤣
