April, May, & June
4-1
I've been working so much trying to learn my new job, Josh has been traveling and with Lacrosse and flag football in season we haven't spent much time together so we decided to take off to a German resort in West Virginia. It was so relaxing and some much needed us time! Our cottage
I loved this tub!
Of course we get out of town and one of us isn't feeling well. 😂
Dirt bike season is back!
4-6
Jack's team won their first game today!
4-8
I got an email today from the company that did the kid's school pictures at Gunston Elementary trying to get me to buy old prints. They sent these and it made my heart melt!
Just because he's cute!

Jack's flag football season is going great! They are undefeated! Today they only had 5 players because it's spring break and a lot of the kids are out of town. This meat they all had to play the whole game without breaks. Usually Jack plays defense but today he played everything and he caught a touchdown pass and the pass for the extra point! He was so excited and we were too!
The kids are on spring break this week so I took Kaleb, Kenny, and Jack to Rudy's again this year to celebrate Kaleb's birthday.
4-19
Kaleb has been watching YouTube videos on the Surron for years and wants one so bad. Josh has one at work and brought it home for a week for the boys to ride. Kaleb was so excited even though he knew it wasn't his. He kept trying to convince him to not take it back. Lol
Josh and I got all dressed up because a friend of his from work got married and we went to the reception. I wore this dress to Gino's high school graduation!
4-20
Easter fell on Kaleb's Birthday this year! I hid the eggs outside this year and made it harder since they each had $20 in them!
They even colored eggs with me!
Gifts
Then cake with friends!
Kip and Izzy got him the prefect gift!
We always love watching Roman play!
A few days later they took the Surron to the garage and rode it. They are going to be so sad when Josh takes it back to work.
4-21
You know how I'm always saying the boys are like Josh when it comes to bringing other people's trash home? Well I was mowing the grass today and saw our new protective wall on the carport! 😂😂
5-7
Today was a big milestone for Jack. He passed his learners permit test on the first try! I wasn't sure he would because I hadn't seen him study. He has been telling me he's been studying at school. When I saw him walk out after only 7 or 8 min I figured he failed because if you don't get all 10 road signs correct at the beginning of the test they don't let you go on to the questions, but he passed!
I had planned on letting Josh teach him, but then I figured if I don't want to be worrying all the time after he gets his license, I better drive with him now so I know what kind of driver he is.
5-11
Happy Mother's Day!
I had a great weekend with the two who call me mom! Lacrosse, Football, gifts and cake, what else could a girl ask for?! 😂😂
These boys are so much bigger than Kaleb!
5-17
Today was Kaleb's last game of the season. They only won 1 game but they played hard every game! Kaleb really showed up today and was so physical, which is what we've been waiting for all season!
5-24
17 years ago I married a boy that I had only known for 4 months! People thought we were crazy and some told me we would never last. Well, they were right about one of those things and I love our crazy life we have built!
6-1
Just when I'm having all the feels because they are growing up so fast, I see him outside playing and it makes me smile so big!
6-15
How has it been 17 yrs since I celebrated Father's day with my dad?! I'm grateful for the ones we did have together and wish so bad my boys could have known him. He was a rough one sometimes but his heart was so big! He would have given a stranger the shirt off his back making them think it was their idea. Lol I miss him everyday.
Happy Father's Day to the man my boys get to call Dad! He has sacrificed a lot and spent a lot of time away, but he's incredible at making his time at home count! He's teaching our boys how to be great men while having a blast doing it! We love you Josh!
6-14
This year I asked Ken if we could borrow his dump truck so I could go get a big load of mulch. Of course he said yes, because he awesome! I got two yards! The boys helped me by emptying it into the flower beds but I couldn't spread it fast enough to keep up with them so I had them dump the rest in the yard.
After the boys cleaned the dump truck we headed to our first BMX race this year. I can't believe we haven't raced but with Lacrosse and Flag Football taking up so much time in the spring we haven't had time.
It took me three days to get all the mulch where I wanted it but it looks great!
I love that when the boys don't like something they will modify it instead of automatically asking for something new. Jack didn't like the placement of his E-Brake so he built a platform for it.
6-19
While mom works, the boys play! 😂😂
6/21-6/22
A few months ago I sighed Kaleb up for another Lacrosse with the Pros camp. It was the weekend of the Whipsnakes home games in Baltimore. We went up on Saturday and watched a game, Kaleb had his camp Sunday morning, then we watched another game before heading home.
Getting started with the Goalie, Colin Kurst, from the Boston Cannons
McArdle, Attack from the Philadelphia Waterdogs.
His favorite part was the scrimmages and he was so proud to be wearing the Maryland helmet!
💙

All of the pictures Jack takes automatically upload to our Amazon Photos and he's always taking creative shots. I found these the other day and thought they were cool.
6-28
Today I had the best morning! Apparently 2 yards of mulch wasn't enough because I only got the front yard beds covered so I went to Lowe's to get more. I also needed a can of paint and when I got there I saw that they are selling clothes now! So I got everything I needed and a new cute shirt at one place!
That afternoon we went out on the boat. Kenny hasn't gone wakeboarding with us in a couple years but he got right up! He was working on getting out and in on both sides of the wake. Josh has taught so many kids and he loves helping them to continue to get better.
After Wakeboarding, we met up with the neighbors and watched the Mount Vernon fireworks!

Kaleb has been fishing a lot this summer and every now and again Jack will go with him. The big catches of the day. 🤣🤣
