Merry Christmas!

I figured when the boys got older they would sleep in a little longer on Christmas morning, but I was wrong because they came in our room at 5:45 this morning! They finally got us out of bed at 6:00.
Scavenger Hunt 1st Clues
They instantly regretted being up before daylight when they read the second clue of their scavenger hunt, which required them to, go to the woods, use a compass and shoot an azimuth to find their next one. 🤣🤣
 after 5 more clues each, taking them all around the neighborhood, we have awesome neighbors, they finally found their gifts! 
I felt horrible because Jack's big gifts were the Moza racing wheel, gear shifter, and pedals for his computer.  They didn't make it here so he unwrapped boxes with printouts in them, but he's so excited that "I actually got him the brand he wanted. " cause, you know I'm a bad mom that deprives him.🙄🤣🤣  He handled it like a champ!
Kaleb is ready for the 2024 BMX season with all carbon fiber wheels! 
He also got the trick scooter he's been wanting
We're thankful to have Josh home this year! 
With me having pneumonia I've been pretty useless but my mom is here and has picked up the slack big time! Thanks to her we were able to have a great Christmas dinner! 
The boys weren't the only one who went on a scavenger hunt for their gifts! Josh made one for mom too! I was in impressed how fast she found her clues because when I read them the other day it took me a while to figure out a couple of them.  
She was excited with her Fitbit.
Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday, mom! We love you so much and are so thankful to have you with us for the holidays!
Josh took Kaleb to the skate park on Fort Belvoir this afternoon.  He had a great time and loves his scooter.

6 months ago Josh text his family and gave them dates that we would be camping in Idaho and 31 of them made it! Josh has always told me of all the places he traveled, Alturas Lake is his favorite! We spent 5 days in the mountains without cell service, electric, and water because the campground didn't have any open sites. 4-1 The ski hill that Josh grew up going to is still open but only on weekends, so they hiked to the top of it and made their own jumps.  The boys were not impressed with the journey getting up there but had so much fun once the work was done!  4-4 Our nephew Zach works at a zoo in Twin Falls so we went and saw him.  This is the perfect job for him! He's so knowledgeable about all the animals and you can see how much he loves what he does. We enjoyed our visit.  4-5 I took the boys to a skate park in Burley today and Kaleb had a pretty bad crash and we ended up in Urgent Care.   Good thing he can still play his oculus while he's recovering! 😂😂 4-6 They went back to Pomerelle on Saturday to snowboard.  The boys were so excited that they got to ride the lifts this time.  Haha ...

I guess the fall is wedding season now because we had 2 in 2 weekends.  Josh and I were able to celebrate Roman and Teresa's wedding with them and a lot of our neighbors! The day was beautiful and we love their family so much!  Josh left the next day for Nevada for 6 weeks and missed Steph and Kenny's annual birthday party! I love that we celebrate the grown ups birthdays with the kids!  Our BMX team planned a day to go to a new skate park and when we got there there was an event going on that none of us knew about so it was so crowded.  Jack doesn't have a park bike so he brought a skateboard and I was so proud of him for just getting out there and trying even though there were so many people.  He really is growing up!  Then he took his mountain bike out there and had fun with the other kids on bikes Kaleb On Oct 21st we had t...
