Happy Thanksgiving!

I always forget how special NC is to me.  I have so many great memories here including falling in love with Josh! I'm so glad we decided to come for Thanksgiving, and have enjoyed the family time so much! I'm pretty sure this state will always have a piece of my heart.

4-1 The ski hill that Josh grew up going to is still open but only on weekends, so they hiked to the top of it and made their own jumps.  The boys were not impressed with the journey getting up there but had so much fun once the work was done!  4-4 Our nephew Zach works at a zoo in Twin Falls so we went and saw him.  This is the perfect job for him! He's so knowledgeable about all the animals and you can see how much he loves what he does. We enjoyed our visit.  4-5 I took the boys to a skate park in Burley today and Kaleb had a pretty bad crash and we ended up in Urgent Care.   Good thing he can still play his oculus while he's recovering! 😂😂 4-6 They went back to Pomerelle on Saturday to snowboard.  The boys were so excited that they got to ride the lifts this time.  Haha ...

7/2 - 7/6 We went to Ocean City this year to spend the 4th of July with the Meckley's.  We stayed at the trailer that he bought last year, which is right on the bay. I was sitting on his boat reading a book on the morning of the 4th and a boat parade went by! October, November & December 2024

10-2 Josh found a set of wood mountain bike ramps on Marketplace for really cheap and bought them.  Kaleb asked if he could alter one of them and build a platform at the top so he can ride his scooter on it.  I love that he will tackle a project like this!  10-4  I had my gallbladder removed and while they were in there they found a hiatal hernia and repaired it too.   10-9 I'm not one to brag on myself but since starting with a nutritionist in July and learning to eat smaller portions and more protein I'm down 25 lbs! I've still got a long way to go, but slow and steady wins the race, right? 🙂 I guess I should give credit to the 3 to 4 miles I walks 5 days a week too.
