Summer part 1

This was Kaleb's first year going toyoung men's camp with our church.  They went out to the Shenandoah Caverns and camped for two nights. When we picked them up the bishop came to me and told me Kaleb struggled and he found him sitting on a rock by himself the night before. He asked him if he was sick and he just shook his head no.  He then told me he thought he was homesick. Once we were gone he came and laid with me on the couch for 30 min then I had to get up to do something and he moved to Josh for a little while.  ❤️

They do get along sometimes. haha
Jack was officially moved to the intermediate class! 
Kaleb learned how to do a back flip on the trampoline.  He was out there practicing so much! I saw him one morning before church and just smiled. 
We were late getting out on the water this year because it had been so cold! Our first boat ride was mid June and we went with the Meckley's and Beauregard's to eagle creek and it was just what we needed except I waiting too long to reapply sunscreen and I got burnt!

the next couple of days we got up at 6am to get smooth water so they could wakeboard then once it was choppy they tubed.
Jack got up on the surf board for the first time! He threw the rope back in so fast I thought for sure he wasn't going to stay in the wave long but he did really good! 
Josh landed a back flip! 
Jack pulled Josh for the first time completely on his own so I guess I get moretanning time. 😉
On the 4th of July we took the Blairs out boating with us.  Even though it rained the kids still had a good time! Izzy loved tubing and kept telling me she wanted to come again.  Haha
After that we watched Roo and Shannon's fireworks show in the neighborhood.

6 months ago Josh text his family and gave them dates that we would be camping in Idaho and 31 of them made it! Josh has always told me of all the places he traveled, Alturas Lake is his favorite! We spent 5 days in the mountains without cell service, electric, and water because the campground didn't have any open sites. April, May, & June 2024

4-1 The ski hill that Josh grew up going to is still open but only on weekends, so they hiked to the top of it and made their own jumps.  The boys were not impressed with the journey getting up there but had so much fun once the work was done!  4-4 Our nephew Zach works at a zoo in Twin Falls so we went and saw him.  This is the perfect job for him! He's so knowledgeable about all the animals and you can see how much he loves what he does. We enjoyed our visit.  4-5 I took the boys to a skate park in Burley today and Kaleb had a pretty bad crash and we ended up in Urgent Care.   Good thing he can still play his oculus while he's recovering! 😂😂 4-6 They went back to Pomerelle on Saturday to snowboard.  The boys were so excited that they got to ride the lifts this time.  Haha ...

I guess the fall is wedding season now because we had 2 in 2 weekends.  Josh and I were able to celebrate Roman and Teresa's wedding with them and a lot of our neighbors! The day was beautiful and we love their family so much!  Josh left the next day for Nevada for 6 weeks and missed Steph and Kenny's annual birthday party! I love that we celebrate the grown ups birthdays with the kids!  Our BMX team planned a day to go to a new skate park and when we got there there was an event going on that none of us knew about so it was so crowded.  Jack doesn't have a park bike so he brought a skateboard and I was so proud of him for just getting out there and trying even though there were so many people.  He really is growing up!  Then he took his mountain bike out there and had fun with the other kids on bikes Kaleb On Oct 21st we had t...
