My 40th birthday weekend!

First, I can't believe I'm turning 40 and second, I knew that these girls were great but this took the cake! Annie, Sam, and Kristen came to spend the weekend with me! I felt so special! I was really missing Josh and the thought of my birthday, especially this one, alone made me sad! 

Kristin drove in from Buffalo around 2. I told her Annie lands at 4:15 so we had plenty of time before we had to go get her.  5 min later Annie text and said she had landed.  My response was "In Virginia?" She panicked thinking she went to the wrong airport and we panicked cause we were sitting on the couch.  We jumped in the van and left.  It took us 25 min to get to Reagan airport.  I told her I was stuck in traffic so she wouldn't panic... again! 

After getting Annie we went to target and got snacks. We made it back to the house just in time for Sam to arrive.  It was so nice being together.  It was like we had just seen each other yesterday.  

Saturday we stared the day by watching crime shows on Netflix then went and got pedicures! 


After that it was back to the couch for yummy apples, crakers, and Vermont white cheddar, cut right off the will, thanks to Sam!  I think the boys were really confused because I had been so excited about them coming and we stayed in this position 90% of the time!  
Saturday evening Steph had a birthday party for me and our favorite neighbors were there! It was fun having all of my favorite people together and getting to know each other! We had decided that the theme for my birthday was going to be Sparkles so we all got dressed up to go across the street for dinner 😂

Annie had too much to drink but it worked out for us because she made cinnamon rolls when we got home! 
It was a great night!

6 months ago Josh text his family and gave them dates that we would be camping in Idaho and 31 of them made it! Josh has always told me of all the places he traveled, Alturas Lake is his favorite! We spent 5 days in the mountains without cell service, electric, and water because the campground didn't have any open sites. 4-1 The ski hill that Josh grew up going to is still open but only on weekends, so they hiked to the top of it and made their own jumps.  The boys were not impressed with the journey getting up there but had so much fun once the work was done!  4-4 Our nephew Zach works at a zoo in Twin Falls so we went and saw him.  This is the perfect job for him! He's so knowledgeable about all the animals and you can see how much he loves what he does. We enjoyed our visit.  4-5 I took the boys to a skate park in Burley today and Kaleb had a pretty bad crash and we ended up in Urgent Care.   Good thing he can still play his oculus while he's recovering! 😂😂 4-6 They went back to Pomerelle on Saturday to snowboard.  The boys were so excited that they got to ride the lifts this time.  Haha ...

I guess the fall is wedding season now because we had 2 in 2 weekends.  Josh and I were able to celebrate Roman and Teresa's wedding with them and a lot of our neighbors! The day was beautiful and we love their family so much!  Josh left the next day for Nevada for 6 weeks and missed Steph and Kenny's annual birthday party! I love that we celebrate the grown ups birthdays with the kids!  Our BMX team planned a day to go to a new skate park and when we got there there was an event going on that none of us knew about so it was so crowded.  Jack doesn't have a park bike so he brought a skateboard and I was so proud of him for just getting out there and trying even though there were so many people.  He really is growing up!  Then he took his mountain bike out there and had fun with the other kids on bikes Kaleb On Oct 21st we had t...
