A quick trip to NC

Image
Since the boys were racing in South Carolina we decided to leave a few days early and go to Kelly and Richie's for a few days.  There house still wasn't finished but it was so close and so beautiful! Josh has been working on a bed platform for our road trip this summer so we thought this would be the perfect time to test it out!  He ordered an awning and is awesome a We went through Fayetteville on our way and stopped by our first house!  Man a lot has changed in 15 years lol p hg Camper Town at the Ojeda's Story time with Richie... he was telling the boys stories from when he was young and every one of them started out with "You got to remember, I was a mean ass kid." Haha.  The boys slept in hammocks.  I thought they would come to the van in the middle of the night but they didn't.   Kelly took the boys fishing Jack got board fast and K

Jack's PC

About a year and a half ago,  Jack decided he wanted to build a PC and when Jack gets something on his mind it stays there! He about drive me crazy talking about this thing lol He worked cutting grass, walking dogs, pretty much doing anything people would pay him to do.  I thought it would take a few years but he had his $1900 and was ready to order! He got individual pieces and built this. He had to facetime Carmelo a few times but he did most of it by himself.  We were so proud of him!  Barret says he likes the iPad better🤣🤣

Kaleb is turning 12 this year so he's able to get the priesthood and pass the sacrament this year.  We waited for Josh to get home so he could give him the Priesthood.  I thought he would be nervous and not want to pass it but he was so excited and kept getting mad at us cause we were in PA every Sunday until March. When the day come I thought for sure he would back out but he didn't.  He did an awesome job!  He had to learn how to tie a toe first though😉 Jack has been singing Josh to let him cut his hair forever so he told him before he left that he could once he was back and he kept his promise.  Jack did a great job!  A little homeschool science in friction  The boys have been asking Josh to play their video games with them and he always says no caps he doesn't like them but he finally agreed to play Fortnite with Kaleb and Roblox with Jack and they were so excited!

Josh comes home! Jan 2023

Josh came home mid January and the first thing he said to me on the way to the car was,  "Is Jack taller than me now?"  😂 We had left up the tree so we could celebrate with him since he missed Christmas.  Soooo tired after days of traveling  He had to work the next morning then we headed to Meckley's cabin and was there pretty much every thurs, Fri, Sat, and Sunday until March.  There wasn't much snow the first weekend so we had to walk to the slopes but the ski in and out was open not long after.  The boys were a lot more confident on their  boards this year.  They both starting riding the rails and jumping more.  We were really nervous about Kaleb since he had just gotten his cast off and the first time he wrecked Josh hurried over to him and asked why he was crying and Kaleb said "I hurt my knee" Josh said "oh good, at least it's not your wrist!"
